WA was our first major trip after retirement. Many of you will probably nod wisely and politely not comment when we say We took everything including the kitchen sink. We had purchased a Nissan X Trail and a Jayco Eagle. The trip was everything we had hoped for and more. The Nullabor was not boring, as we had expected, but very interesting, Cape Le Grande was something else again. We were a little late in leaving but still hoped to see some wildflowers. At Cape Le Grande we were not disappointed. The rest of the places we visited varied hugely from the holiday resort of Kalbarri, to the mining town of Mt Magnet and the wonderful coast of Cape Freycinet. The south-west corner is all it is reputed to be with the towering forests of the Warren and Shannon national parks and the remoteness of Windy Harbour. We loved it all, especially the Wreath Flower at Pindar.
