Tom the Con We arrived at Willandra NP just before dark, put up the tents & started tea. Tom walked into the camp just as we were finishing tea. He was quite charming and totally conned us for all we were worth. Tom was a ginger tom cat, beautifully groomed and a young, about 12 months, un-neutered male. He was totally at home with people and happy to be patted and to accept food. He purred readily and spent the night outside our tent purring loudly. When we walked anywhere he followed us. Next morning, when he realised we were packing up he disappeared quietly into the bush. What a con!
